We wanted an artwork that could capture visual focus and we sourced this stunning customized marble slab together with the client. It’s made of natural real stone with translucent parts that we turned into a back lit artwork. We choose marble because of its symbolism to family as it has natural veins and patterns. The unique thing about the artwork is that different people will see different depictions depending on their perspective. Our client, Ashly, sees a golden peacock, but others may see a different portrayal.
It also fitted nicely with the overall theme of the project, which consists of marble tones and brushed gold.
