Founded in 2010, MIL Design & Construction is an award-winning, founder-led interior architecture and build company based in Kuala Lumpur.

We specialize in bespoke high-end homes and transformative commercial and hospitality spaces — including boutique hotels, heritage re-use, learning centres, and developer-led show units & sales galleries.

FOUNDER- LED
Co-founded by Edward Lye (Murdoch, Perth) and IDr Mak Mil Yung (RMIT Melbourne) we bring over 25 years of experience each, blending architecture, interior design, and site execution with deep emotional intelligence.

Our team encompasses carpenters, in-house designers, project managers, and specialized trade and technical teams.
Our directors, Mil, Edward, have individually led prestigious design projects. Mil has led residential projects for Tan Sri Halim Saad, AIMST Medical University, and luxury resorts and hotels across Southeast Asia.
