HighPark Suites
HighPark Suites - Common Areas is one of Mil Design and Construction’s latest endeavours. The brief called for the planning, design and construction of the common areas for two blocks of residential towers in the leafy suburb of Kelana Jaya, Malaysia.
Our scope of work comprised of the lobby andentrance drop-off areas, amenity spaces like Children’s & Party Room, Business Centre, Multi-purpose Hall, Café and Pool Pavilions, management office, reading room and triple-level Sky Courts.
The team was challenged to push the boundaries by seamlessly integrating urban lifestyles with home-living, home-business, leisure and community. The common areas are more than sustainable spaces for the urban generation, including small families, Gen Y and young professionals.
They are also designed as a flexible and considered transformation of common areas for residents and visitors to use as an extension of their home and create a unique community
These shared areas are designed as an extension of their homes, which is crucial to generate a balanced lifestyle for live, work, play for the residents. To promote a green oasis living among the hustle of city-living, a series of triple-volumed urban sky courts and pavilions are designed as an ‘elevated deck in the sky’ for residents to hang-out or have gatherings or even mid-sized events.
